Why Should You Read This?
I am not sure if I would call this a Romance novel. The protagonist discovers herself as she recovers from the shock of finding out that her husband is cheating on her. While there is some romance, it is pretty much at the end of the novel.
The writing is well-paced, and the author subtly explores the themes of cheating, marriage counselling, and women struggling with second chances. However, there is also humor in the story, and I felt the story is well-balanced.
A lovely lazy afternoon read. Perfect with a cafe mocha or coffee in hand.
