TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Around 6:54 pm shots rang out for a second time today leaving one injured at the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Trenton Police received several 9-1-1 calls for reports of multiple shots fired in the first block of Laclede Avenue near West State Street. Trenton Police along with Trenton EMS and Trenton Fire Department responded to the scene.
Police found one person shot and TEMS and firefighters proceeded in. The victim was rushed to the Trauma Center at Capital Health by TEMS with Trenton Police providing an escort to the hospital.
A source mentioned that the person was shot in back and was in stable condition at the hospital.
