UPDATE: 27 Year Old Scotch Plains Man Charged With Aggravated Assault In July 4th Toms River Incident

TOMS RIVER, NJ (OCEAN)–Toms River Police say that, on Sunday July 4, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police units were called to Hazelwood Road in Toms River for a reported injured person. Initial investigation revealed there was an altercation in the street and one victim was flown to Jersey Shore Medical University for serious injuries. The investigation is on-going at this time.
