EAST WINDSOR, NJ (MERCER)–After careful consultation with our local health officials, local government, and the NJDOE, we are announcing that the East Windsor Regional School District will begin to implement its remote learning plan beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Dear East Windsor Regional School District Community:
After careful consultation with our local health officials, local government, and the NJDOE, we areannouncing the East Windsor Regional School District will begin to implement its remote learningplan beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. We expect this plan to be in effect throughSunday, March 29, 2020. During this time period, students will engage in learning activities whileat home, and receive virtual support from their teachers. During this two week period, we willassess the continued implementation of remote learning based on the guidance from our public healthofficials and will communicate any necessary changes or updates. Although we do not have aknown confirmed case in the East Windsor Regional School District at this time, I do not want towait until one is identified and it becomes too late to limit the spread of thishighly contagious virus. This is being implemented as a precautionary and proactive approach to
reduce the risk for our students, staff and families.
