LAKEWOOD, NJ (OCEAN)–Around 8:40 p.m. a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Route 9 and 9th Street. The person was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center. The roadway was closed for the accident investigation. Lakewood Police are investigating. No further details are available.
